CR7 FOOTWEAR FW15 LAUNCH APPEARANCE

Cristiano Ronaldo has made his catwalk debut to celebrate the launch of the FW15 collection of his CR7 Footwear brand. Taking to the catwalk for the first time, he remarks, “I was a little nervous at first! It was a totally new experience for me, but it was a lot of fun!”

The launch took place in his home country of Portugal, where CR7 Footwear is crafted. Ronaldo said, “It’s an honour to launch my new collection of CR7 Footwear in my home country today. Each pair is hand crafted here in Portugal by the most talented local artisans, so it seemed fitting to hold the global launch here in the historic town of Guimaraes, where many of the styles are made.”

He continues, “With CR7 Footwear, it is all about style so I wanted to create a fashion presentation that really focused on the collection itself. The fashion show demonstrated how you can wear each different style and the art display really showcased each piece beautifully. The International Arts Centre features the work of some of the world’s most important artists, so it’s fantastic to have presented our collection here today.”

Superstar sportsman and international fashion icon stages a private fashion presentation in his home country of Portugal, celebrating the new collection of his upscale CR7 Footwear brand of formal men’s styles

Cristiano Ronaldo today staged an exclusive fashion event in his home country of Portugal to introduce his new collection of CR7 Footwear to the world. The historic town of Guimaraes provided a beautifully traditional setting for the event, juxtaposed by the backdrop of the contemporary International Arts Centre, famous for showcasing works by the country’s most important artists.

The highlight of the event saw Ronaldo take to the catwalk himself, along with some of Portugal’s top male models, to showcase his favourite pairs from the collection, after which he officially opened a gallery installation featuring his FW15 CR7 Footwear styles as art pieces.
